These Terms of Service govern your use of Gem Lingua, a mobile language-learning app. By using Gem Lingua, you agree to these terms.

Use of the app

Gem Lingua provides language-learning content, vocabulary tools, audio, articles, progress tracking, and related features. You may use the app for personal learning purposes and must not misuse, disrupt, reverse engineer, or attempt unauthorized access to the service.

Accounts

Some features may require sign-in through supported identity providers such as Google, Facebook, or Firebase Authentication. You are responsible for keeping your account access secure.

Learning content

Gem Lingua content is provided for educational purposes. We work to keep lessons, translations, examples, and vocabulary accurate, but errors may occur. The app is not a substitute for professional translation, legal, medical, financial, or other specialist advice.

Subscriptions and payments

Some features may be free and others may require a paid subscription, donation, or purchase. Payment terms, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are handled through the relevant app store or payment provider when purchases are enabled.

User data and deletion

Our Privacy Policy explains how account and learning data is handled. You can delete account data using the in-app deletion flow described at /delete-account.

Changes to the service

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of Gem Lingua as the product evolves. We may also update these terms from time to time.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gem Lingua is provided as-is and without warranties. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app.
